One of the world’s leading construction and public works conferences, INTERMAT serves as a forum for key professionals in the construction-materials-production industry to network and showcase new equipment. It takes place every three years and features over 375,000 square feet of exhibitor space and an outside demonstration area measuring 20,000 square feet. The 2015 INTERMAT took place April 20-25 at the Nord Villepinte in Paris, France.
Terex cranes showcased at the event included the Explorer 5600 all-terrain crane and the newly redesigned Terex CTT 182-8 flat-top tower crane. First launched at the ConExpo-Con/Agg in 2014, the Explorer 5600 possesses a capacity-calculating system to boost lift capabilities and a load chart designed with the potential to increase capacities by 200 percent when operating over outriggers. The newly designed CTT 182-8 features a variety of upgrades and redesigns, such as increased maximum jib length and hoist speed.
