Providing customers trusted expertise in high-rise, parking garage, and filigree construction for more than three decades, Carson Concrete Corporation, is led by Anthony Samango III. Employing only the highest quality equipment, Carson Concrete uses Terex cranes for many of its jobs, including the completed Bucks County Justice Center. The $84 million Doylestown, Pennsylvania, complex required 11,000 cubic yards of concrete work.
At the INTERMAT 2015 exposition in April, Terex Cranes featured the latest innovations in lifting equipment, including the Terex Explorer 5600 all-terrain crane. This crane is equipped with a new capacity calculating system, which significantly increases its lifting capacity up to 200 percent over outriggers. In addition to being able to position outriggers independently and asymmetrically, crane operators also enjoy enhanced visualization that helps them better gauge capacity in relationship to the boom position.
Using the Terex Explorer 5600 helps companies save on transportation costs by cutting down on counterweight use. Safety is also improved, since the system slows and stops slewing movements automatically when the boom goes beyond the designated lifting area.
