Under the direction of vice president Anthony Samango, Carson Concrete has completed more than 800 jobs and poured millions of yards of concrete for developments in the Philadelphia area. Charged with doing the concrete work for the Bucks County Justice Center, Carson Concrete used a rugged yet flexible Terex RT 670 crane.
The Terex RT 670 crane can be used for a wide variety of jobs, from high-rise buildings in the city to agriculture-related construction in rural areas. It features a 70-ton lifting capacity and a four-section boom with mechanical synchronization that stretches up to 111 feet. The hoist cylinder allows for an elevation anywhere between 76 degrees and -4 degrees.
The crane's integral automatic brakes improve safety and handling, while the spring-loaded cable roller helps with spooling the line. The line has a maximum speed of 479 feet per minute. Additional features include four-wheel-drive and four-wheel-steer functions, as well as the power of a six-speed, 220-horsepower engine.
