One of the firm’s more recent projects is the student housing development Evo at Cira Centre South in the University City area of Philadelphia. Completed in the fall of 2014, the 40 story Evo was designed by Erdy McHenry Architecture. The building features an asymmetrical pointed apex and shimmering glass facade. Evo stands at 430 feet tall, making it the tallest student-housing developed in the country to date.
Target residents of the building include Drexel University and University of Pennsylvania Wharton School students as well as other graduate students and young professionals who enjoy the college atmosphere. The building’s rooftop features a two-story gym, an infinity pool, and a game room.
